Iznik Tin Plate

Each of these decorative tin plates were inspired by a little piece of history, work of art, place, or some of them directly from a porcelain pattern from long ago.   These make for a great conversation piece and excellent plateware for a fun get-together.

Isnik pottery of the Ottoman period was among the most colorful ever made.  This is a reproduction of a fritware dish, thinly covered with white slip, and painted under a clear glaze, typical of Isnik designs of about 1550.
